23 Sunshine Boulevard, Broadbeach Waters sold for $2.2 million.

One of the Gold Coast’s most-admired houses has sold in a multimillion-dollar deal made during the peak of the COVID-19 period.

The Hamptons-style stunner at 23 Sunshine Boulevard in Broadbeach Waters sold in April for $2.2 million — the same price achieved for the property when it last sold in September 2018.

The Hamptons-style haven overlooks the water.

Jesse Willcox, of Willcox Estate Agents, said the property attracted a huge amount of interest, with a local buyer the highest among five formal offers made within three weeks.

“We had really heavy interest both online and over the phone, even during the COVID-19 period we were getting multiple inquiries a day,” he said.

Celebrities and Instagrammers were among those eyeing off the waterfront wonder which was the most-viewed on the Gold Coast on realestate.com.au during April.

The house enjoys 53m of water frontage in sought after Broadbeach Waters.

Mr Willcox said the location, wide water frontage and the classic, coastal aesthetic of the house made it a highly desirable property.

“The Hamptons-inspired design and Broadbeach Waters generally is a really good combination,” he said.

Public records show the sale is the second-highest price for an established residential house on Sunshine Boulevard, falling just shy of the $2.25 million achieved for 26 Sunshine Boulevard in December 2018.
